How ScanPower Works
ScanPower has features that shave countless hours off your search for profitable products you can sell. Here’s a breakdown of the top 7.
Mobile – The free app is available for Android and iPhone users. It allows you to search every item in Amazon’s catalog by ASIN, UPC, ISBN, or keyword.
In addition to showing the listing, the app also shows you the lowest 5 FBA offers and most important, whether or not Amazon is the seller.
Released in late 2019, you can now see which brands are known to file IP complaints against sellers.
You can scan several hundred items in a 2-3 hour session, see the profit probability, and then decide which items to buy.
When I looked at the reviews for the mobile app on Amazon.com, it was almost even for positive and negative reviews. The people who loved the app and couldn’t live without it matched pretty evenly with those who thought it was totally scammy.
List – This feature allows you to scan an item on the fly and then create a new Amazon listing. Afterwards, you can choose the condition and then set the price.
Once you return to your office, your listings are ready for you to add notes and print labels.
Web Scout – Use WebScout to find deals online. Once you have an item in mind, cut and past the UPC code or the product name to get the same in depth information that’s available on the mobile app.
Boxt – Pack your box, keep track of the contents, and integrate it with your shipments using this feature. Boxt let’s you keep track of what’s inside of each box, with a 2D barcode that you can easily print out.
Evaluate – This is a powerful service, if you source from wholesalers and online sites. You can take a spreadsheet of UPC codes, upload it, and let Evaluate match items to your “buy criteria.”
