This article is going to show you how to get the absolute most out of your Tactical Expander or Tactical Expander Lite license. First, let me explain how we got where we are so you know which tools are which and what you actually need to get going.
If you don't need the explanation, you can just click here and jump straight into the trainings.
This training is much better fit for desktop viewing than mobile. I highly recommend you jump over to your larger screens to be able to see the steps more clearly.
Brief Explanation
In late 2020, the Tactical Expander Chrome extension was launched. This was a product I worked on with the team at TacticalBucket.com. It was a huge success, but we wanted to add even more to it.
So, in early 2021, I negotiated a deal with Tactical Bucket to integrate the functionality of my software Storefront Stalker Pro. If you're unfamiliar, Storefront Stalker Pro was a Chrome extension that allowed Amazon sellers to export massive lists of ASINs from the Amazon.com website (it also supported Canada and UK marketplaces).
These CSVs would then be uploaded into the online arbitrage industry standard sourcing software Tactical Arbitrage. You could then find sources from hundreds of 3rd party websites for these Amazon products.
The flow looked like this...
This flow worked well enough for the last 5 years.
However, Tactical Expander came along and brought a brand new benefit into the mix.
It made it possible for Tactical Arbitrage users to scan 3rd party websites that couldn't be supported within Tactical Arbitrage natively.
This immediately added 260+ new websites.
More websites means...more leads which means...more potential to make more money!
Quick Recap
- Storefront Stalker Pro helped sellers pair Amazon products with 3rd party product sources via Tactical Arbitrage's reverse search feature.
- Tactical Expander helped sellers pair products from 3rd party websites that weren't in Tactical Arbitrage with Amazon listings so they could analyze profitability.
- Both were additions to Tactical Arbitrage. They get their value when used in conjunction with it.
Storefront Stalker Pro Becomes Tactical Expander Lite
We decided to team up and bring the functionality inside of Storefront Stalker Pro to Tactical Expander.
The new product was rebranded as "Tactical Expander Lite" and is one of two tiers of Tactical Expander.
With the change came new features.
- Tactical Expander Lite now exports more ASINs than Storefront Stalker Pro
- Tactical Expander Lite now supports more Amazon marketplaces (no longer limited to US, UK and CA)
- Tactical Expander Lite now integrates directly with Tactical Arbitrage.
All previous buyers of Storefront Stalker Pro received the new Tactical Expander Lite at no charge.
Past buyers can upgrade to the full Tactical Expander for 30% off (inside the app only).
Here's a brief explanation of the two tiers of Tactical Expander.

Quick Recap
- Storefront Stalker Pro users should install their free Tactical Expander Lite extension.
- Tactical Expander Lite can be upgraded for 30% off to Tactical Expander (Full) at any time.
Setting Up with Tactical Arbitrage
For exports to work properly with the full version of Tactical Expander, you'll need to toggle on "Scan stores imported from Tactical Expander" in the product search page of Tactical Arbitrage at least once. Refresh the page and you'll be good going forward.
You'll also want to make sure that your settings are set to "Advanced" mode rather than basic.
This is advanced stuff after all 🙂
Basic Scanning Amazon (Lite and Full)
Tactical Expander Lite and Tactical Expander (Full) both work on Amazon in the same way. There is no difference between the two when it comes to Amazon.
To use this feature, navigate to an Amazon page that has products you'd like to run through Tactical Arbitrage.
Find Amazon Page You Want to Export
You can scan almost anything. The most popular feature is scanning from competitors storefront but you can also scan things like daily deals, movers and shakers, best sellers or any combination of searches you can think of (Nike, 4 Star or More, Under $99 for example).
Here are some examples (as an ethical concern I'm not going to share someone's Storefront).
- Daily Deals with no Search Term (used in demo images)
- Best Sellers Toys and Games (used in demo images for stacked scan)
Click on the Tactical Expander Chrome Icon
The icon looks like this...
This will open up a screen that looks like this...
Run Search and Wait OR Add More Searches
Storefront Stalker Pro had a function that allowed you to "stack" many Amazon URLs into one spreadsheet to export massive CSV files in one shot.
You can do this in Tactical Expander Lite. Simply leave the Tactical Expander screen open and navigate back to Amazon and do the same thing you just did but on any other pages you want to export.
It will look like this if done properly.
The URLs will begin to stack up and you can run them all at once.
You can also paste URLs into this area manually as long as they are from Amazon as well.
For this demo, we will run just one store, the original deals page with no keywords. The results will look something like this.
Note, due to variations and other factors, the number of ASINs will be different than the total shown. This example will show 5,688 (although that number will be different when you scan at a later date).
Once you're ready, click "Run" and your scan will start.
The amount of time it takes varies depending on several factors. Allow it to finish before exporting for maximum ASINs, but you can also export at any time.
Choose Export to CSV or Export to TA
Exporting to CSV will give you the same output that Storefront Stalker Pro would give you. It will be a large CSV file that you can then manually upload into Tactical Arbitrage.
If you choose the Export to TA option, you just need to be logged into Tactical Arbitrage in another Chrome tab.
After you click Export to TA, you'll need to refresh the Tactical Arbitrage pages.
It will appear in both the reverse search AND Amazon flips areas automatically.
If your lists are over 25,000 ASINs, it will automatically set them as multiple searches.
Clear Data
Once you've completed a scan, clear the old data and you'll be ready to start over.
Quick Recap
- Tactical Expander and Tactical Expander Lite both offer the same Amazon export features above.
- You can "stack" scans to create large, custom exports
- You can import directly to TA or export to CSVs
- Imports go directly into Tactical Arbitrage reverse search and Amazon flips pages.
- You need to be logged into Tactical Arbitrage in another Chrome tab to utilize the export.
- Lists over 25,000 ASINs will be split into multiple lists automatically.
- This is the extent of features for Tactical Expander Lite (formerly Storefront Stalker Pro)
3rd Party Sites (Full Version Only)
If the Amazon scanning isn't keeping you busy enough, Tactical Expander (Full version) will allow you to scan 3rd party websites.
These are amazing because ONLY Tactical Expander users have access to these!
This means way less competition. You can avoid the dreaded race to the bottom and feel more comfortable that your buys will sell as quickly as you expected and at the prices you expected.
Here are all of the websites currently supported inside of Tactical Expander (Full version) as of January 11th, 2021. Remember, this list is growing constantly!

Running Scans on 3rd Party Sites (Tactical Expander Full Version)
The process of scanning one of the 3rd party sites is nearly identical to scanning an Amazon page as we covered above.
Let's go through the process step by step.
Find Web Page You Want to Export
Using the list above as a starting point, open one of the sites that looks interesting to you.
When you click the Tactical Expander icon, it will alert you if the page is supported or not. If it isn't supported, you'll get a notification like this...
For this example, I'm going to search Nike.com and filter down to the men's shoes under $100. You can play along and click here to scan it as well.
Click on the Tactical Expander Chrome Icon
This will open up a screen that looks like this...
Run Search and Wait OR Add More Searches
Just like with Amazon pages, we can stack multiple searches to create large exports.
You can paste URLs into the search area but they must be from the same website.
For this demo, I'll just run the one scan of Nike I mentioned above.
Again, due to variations and other factors, the number of products might be different than the total shown.
Once you're ready, click "Run" and your scan will start. It will look something like this
Note the alert that says you need to keep the tab active and visible for it to work properly.
The amount of time it takes varies depending on several factors. Allow it to finish before exporting.
Choose Export to CSV or Export to TA
If you choose the Export to TA option, you just need to be logged into Tactical Arbitrage in another Chrome tab.
After you click Export to TA, you'll need to refresh the Tactical Arbitrage pages.
It will then appear in only the product search area.
If your exports are larger than Tactical Arbitrage's limits, they will be broken down into separate files
Quick Recap
- Tactical Expander Lite does not support the 3rd party scans. Tactical Expander Full version does.
- You can "stack" scans to create large, custom exports
- You can import directly to TA or export to CSV
- Imports go directly into Tactical Arbitrage product search
- You need to be logged into Tactical Arbitrage in another Chrome tab to utilize the export.
- Lists over 25,000 products will be split into multiple lists automatically.
