Elite Natives Academy is one of the best (and most gratifying) "make money online" training programs I've ever purchased. It helped me create a new, legitimate and sustainable income stream in 4 weeks. However, this program is not for everyone. You'll need patience, time and money to make it really work. In late November of 2020, I decided to invest a good bit of time, money and effort into an affiliate marketing through native ads training program offered by YouTuber Liam James Kay.

The program was called Master Natives (it's since been renamed as Elite Natives Academy).

The organic feedback I had seen from students was unreal. I had convinced myself that by taking the program I could finally start making real affiliate commissions running native ads to (basically) cold traffic.

This article will explain the program and my experience a bit further. I'll also be answering some of the other common questions that others have asked me about the program.

Why I Took the Program

If you've been a long time reader here you might find it odd that I'd spend thousands of dollars on an affiliate marketing course since I already claim to be a successful affiliate marketer.

It's true, I've been making a full time living through affiliate marketing for nearly 6 years now and have earned well over 7 figures with this blog alone.

In spite of that, I still bought the program for two reasons.

First, I believe in lifelong learning. I think that it's critical to reinvest in my field as much as possible. It's not fair for me to keep teaching, teaching, teaching without investing in my own education to improve the quality of the content I'm teaching.

Secondly, I'm a total novice at native ads.  I knew the process had worked for some people, but I just couldn't seem to make it work myself.

Native Ad Results

Results from implementing what I learned from the program.

I bought ads from Taboola, Outbrain and other platforms and got nothing more than big invoices for my effort.

When I stumbled upon Liam James Kay and his YouTube channel, I knew that he was the real deal. If I was going to learn native ads, it was going to be from him.

It was one of the best investments I've made in a long time. Here's an example of what my sales looked like from just one offer on January 28th, 2021 by applying what I learned in Elite Natives Academy.

Now, the sales do fluctuate but days like this are not uncommon for me now. Currently I'm making about $70/day in profits on average but feel the potential is limitless as I continue to test, learn and scale.

What Is "Native Advertising?"

Before we go any further let's make sure you understand what native ads really are.

"Native advertising is the use of paid ads that match the look, feel and function of the media format in which they appear.  Native ads are often found in social media feeds, or as recommended content on a web page. Unlike display ads or banner ads, native ads don't really look like ads. They look like part of the editorial flow of the page. The key to native advertising is that it is non-disruptive - it exposes the reader to advertising content without sticking out like a sore thumb."

Here is what native ads might look like...

You see these everywhere. You'll really start to notice them once you buy some of your own.

The Program Layout

The training is broken down as follows...

  • 5 pre-recorded sections each consisting of separate sub lessons
  • Roughly 5 hours of video training
  • 8 weeks of access to Liam via Telegram and Skype
  • Access to private Facebook group

Here is what you can expect by the end of the program.

  • Understand the fundamentals of native advertising
  • Adopt the mindset required to succeed
  • Understand the basic terminology
  • Understand the tools that make it possible
  • Learn how to find profitable products to promote
  • Learn how to write ad copy that sells
  • Learn how to create ad graphics that get clicks
  • Learn how to set up the tech to make everything work
  • Learn how to analyze data and optimize campaigns
  • Learn how to scale your campaigns to the next level

The modules are world class and the training is far better than anything I've ever found on the topic elsewhere BUT the biggest value of joining Elite Natives Academy is the direct access to Liam.

Liam James Kay Master Natives

Native ads can be daunting. You can lose a LOT of money very quickly and it's very reasonable to simply throw in the towel because it is confusing and costing you a fortune.

Having Liam in your corner (literally Liam, not a virtual assistant or something else) is a relief and makes you much more confident.

For me, just having Liam tell me that I was heading in the right direction gave me the confidence to keep my ads running before I made my first sale. If he hadn't told me that, I would have certainly given up too soon.

I would NEVER have purchased this program without the direct access to Liam and his support. The course content alone is great but without access to Liam, you're taking a very big risk with your money.

FAQ

For the rest of this review, I'm going to go through in a FAQ format since it seems everyone I've spoken to about this program has the same questions.

"How Much Do I Need to Spend on Ads?"

This is the million dollar question. How much will you need to spend daily to actually give yourself a chance to succeed with Liams Program?

Liam says that you should have budgeted a minimum of $3,000 for ads.

Make no mistake about it, without cash, you won't make this work.

Ideally, you'll break even quickly and that $3,000 will continue to revolve and be the foundation for your new income stream. That isn't a guarantee though.

My recommendation is that you should have enough money that you're willing to lose the ad spend entirely and not give up. If losing the $3,000 would put you into a hole or make life difficult, you should be careful and wait until you have more cashflow to pursue this program and native ads.

"How Much Do I Need to Spend on Other Tools Etc."

Liam has a number of products he suggests. There are alternatives to each, but to really get the most out of the program you will want to buy the following.

Voluum for Ad Management

Voluum is pretty much a "must have" for native ads. Fortunately, it's not super expensive and the features are well worth the monthly expense.

Adplexity Native for Research

Adplexity is the most expensive of all the tools you will need. Fortunately, you can cancel your subscription if you feel like you've found a nice product to focus on

Lander Lab for Landing Pages

I didn't think I'd end up buying Lander Lab myself since I already have Clickfunnels, Thrive Themes etc. but, I did. There are just too many cool integrations between LanderLab and Adplexity and Voluum to not use it. The training does showcase LanderLab as the default landing page software so having it does make the lessons easier to follow.

"Do I Need a Website?"

Yes and no (mostly no). You'll need a website to send traffic to but the pages you use can be unbelievably simple.

Here's an example of a page design style that actually converts very well for me, just with a different offer and sales copy.

Basic Landing Page

Your "website" can be as simple as this single page with an outbound link to your affiliate offer.

The landing page above is a template in LanderLab that you can use with one click and some very rudimentary editing (which Liam will show you how to do).

It costs a few bucks to get a domain on a host like Namecheap and you can use the same domain for all of your offers. You'll most likely want to choose something generic that can be used as a catch all for any offer you promote. A domain like like viralnewsbreak.com or trendingbuzznow.com would work great.

You'll also learn how to "rip" the landing pages from competitors to use for your own campaigns if you use Adplexity and Landerlab.

"How Much Time Does It Take?"

The actual duration of the content is close to 6 hours but you shouldn't "binge' it. Liam has the content broken into weeks and I highly recommend that you take the program slowly and steadily, one week at a time.

So, within 3 weeks you should be seeing some results. By the 4th week, you'll be ready to scale up your campaigns.

"What Sorts of Products Do You Promote?"

You'll be promoting affiliate products. Liam covers how to find a winning product to promote and how to get set up as an affiliate to promote it.

My offers have been products I found on ClickBank.com but there are a lot of other options.

My Click Bank Sales

If you promote with ClickBank you get these gratifying sales bars everyday like I have now 🙂

"Is It Complicated?

I'd be lying if I said it was extremely easy.

However, anyone who can follow instructions and dedicate time and focus towards implementing the strategies laid out can make this work.

One of the beauties of the native advertising model is that it is confusing. This means less competition since people give up so early when they hit the inevitable hold ups.

Most people aren't smart like us and won't buy Liam's program. This just means more opportunities for us 🙂
